Mechanically speaking, this upgraded version featured sports tuned suspension and steering. This car was completed in September 2012, finished in striking grey violet with linen and porpoise leather, with the latter finished in a diamond quilted pattern. It has had three owners from new, has an extensive Bentley main dealer service history and has travelled just 39,000 miles from new. The specification also includes rear view cameras, premium audio system, four zone electronic air conditioning, rear window privacy glass, an eight-inch touchscreen and navigation system. Our workshop team have recently reviewed and prepared this car for sale which we believe to be one of the very best available at this time.
The Bentley Mulsanne name was brought back to life in 2009 when the new version of this famous Bentley name was unveiled at Pebble Beach. It was a completely new design, from the chassis up and proved to be a great success for Bentley Motors with ten years of production that followed. A 6.75 Litre V8 engine with twin turbos was fitted allowing 0-60mph in just over five seconds and a top speed in excess of 180mph. The beautiful coachwork was constructed with a steel body and aluminium moving panels (boot, bonnet and doors) much like the luxury saloons produced by Bentley during the 1950s and 1960s on their standard factory S Type range. The expansive range of colours offered by Bentley Motors on this model enhanced the buyers’ options, with the finished coachwork complemented by solid stainless steel brightwork. The interiors were finished to an equally high standard, with another large range of options for buyers to choose from in terms of leather colours and woodwork veneer finishes. From start to finish, each Mulsanne went through a rigorous 400-hour build process at Crewe resulting in a finished product of exceptional quality that quickly became the benchmark in the luxury saloon market.
