Chassis No SCBCC42M39CH13598 was completed in early 2008, finished in Venusian grey with Hotspur leather and supplied by Bentley Birmigham. The original specification included dark stained burr walnut woodwork, individual rear seats that are both electrically adjustable, massage front seats, Bluetooth system, CD changer and navigation system. The car was initially serviced and maintained by Bentley Birmingham and has subsequently been maintained by a noted independent specialist. Upon its recent arrival to our facility the car was inspected and prepared by our workshop team. This one owner example has travelled just 20,600 miles from new and is in as close to new condition as one could reasonably expect an eighteen-year-old car to be. It is outstanding and testament to the fastidious single owners’ approach to maintaining his cars. It is complete with all its original equipment and literature, as well as its service records. A better example of this rarely available and increasingly popular model would be extremely hard to find in our opinion.
The Brooklands model designation was spectacularly resurrected by Bentley Motors in 2007 when they unveiled their new pillarless coupe design at the Geneva Motor Show. The Brooklands was built on the Azure/Arnage platform and was fitted with a 6.75 Litre V8 configuration engine, capable of 530bhp, a top speed of over 180mph and 0-60 mph in five seconds. Bentley restricted production between 2008 and 2011 to a maximum of 550 cars, but production only reached 438 cars worldwide, making it one of the most collectible cars produced by Bentley in the modern era. A hand built grand tourer of great quality and style, one for future appreciation we predict.
