Chassis No SCA2D68008UH07036 was originally completed in September of 2007 to the order of Sheikh Rashid of Bahrain, built to UK specification and completed in English White metallic with a Crème Light leather interior and black carpets. This 2008 model car was ordered with Rolls-Royce embossing, 21-inch alloy wheels, brushed steel package, front and rear camera system, DAB tuner, Navi-DVD, teak decking and a stainless-steel bonnet. The car was retained by the original owner from September 2007 until March 2024 when it passed to its second owner who lived in Buckinghamshire. The third and most recent owner acquired the car in July of 2025. The V5 document reads six owners from new, however looking at the service history and V5 changes, it is understood that the first four owners were all the Sheik and his various drivers, with the registration changing during his seventeen-year period of ownership. It comes with service records largely from Rolls-Royce London and has travelled 22,500 miles to date. We have reviewed the car in our workshops, and it comes fully prepared with a warranty for the next fortunate owner. The car is complete with two keys, owner’s manual, original brochure, umbrellas, tool kit and battery charger.

The Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe was originally unveiled in concept form in 2004 to celebrate the centenary of the company, listed as the 100EX concept. Fast forward to the Detroit Motor Show in January 2007 and the model was officially released with the first production car to much acclaim. It featured an aluminium body with rearward opening doors and yacht style teak decking to the rear along with a brushed aluminium bonnet. It was powered by a 6.75 Litre V12 engine capable of 0 to 60mph in less than six seconds, over 450 bhp and a top speed of almost 150mph. Chief designer Ian Cameron said “This car gave us the chance to think about the very nature of convertible motoring and in particular what it means to Rolls-Royce. Above all we were determined to make this car a joy to live with and engineered it to give years of effortless service to its owner.” Just over 1,000 cars were produced to this design over a ten-year period, with production concluding in 2017, with each car being hand built at the Rolls-Royce factory at Goodwood in West Sussex.

A striking example of this increasingly popular model, finished in the bold combination of English White with a Crème Light leather interior. If you are looking for the ultimate summertime long distance luxury cruiser, this could be the car for you.
