Chassis No SCBZZ23E6XCH65017 was originally completed and supplied by Jack Barclay in December of 1998, finished in Atlantic blue mica with a champagne leather interior. It is one of just twenty-five cars built to this design in right hand drive. It was supplied to the present owner in 2019 and has been maintained by Frank Dale for over a decade so it’s a car we know well. Prior to this the servicing and maintenance was carried out by several Bentley main dealers and respected specialists, including Bentley Ribble Valley, Broughtons of Cheltenham and The Chelsea Workshop. To date, it has covered 54,600 miles and the present owner is the sixth. We have recently prepared the car for sale in a detailed fashion both mechanically and cosmetically. The opportunity to acquire a right-hand drive Bentley Continental SC comes along infrequently, with this model becoming ever popular. To see why they are so sought after, give us a call to arrange an inspection and test drive, you wont be disappointed.
Following the resounding success of the Bentley Continental R, T and Azure models, the final incarnation of this shape of car was released in 1998, the Bentley Continental SC. The term SC stood for Sedanca Coupe, a style of car first seen in the pre-war era on Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars. The modern version had two glass sections of roof which were removable and were then stowed in a hidden section in the boot of the car. Just seventy-three cars were produced with only twenty-five of these built-in right-hand drive. This model is highly collectible and almost certainly a modern classic in the making.
