We took our first and long overdue visit to the Concorso d’Eleganza at Villa d’Este this year, representing a beautiful 1934 Rolls-Royce Phantom II Continental Owen Sedanca Drophead Coupe by Gurney Nutting. 

The backdrop of Lake Como was incredibly beautiful and the quality of the cars on display at the event were equal to their surroundings. Saturday’s events at the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este were spectacular and then it was onto the more publicly attended events the following day at Villa Erba just a short drive away. The crowds that lined the route from the hotel to Villa Erba on Sunday morning were incredible. The day culminated with our drive up to the stage where Simon Kidston imparted his thoughts on the car to the large crowds in attendance.  

It was a great few days and an event we look forward to attending again in years to come.
